Two Terrorists Killed in Balochistan Clash

Pakistani security forces foiled an attack at a Frontier Corps post in the Zhob District of Balochistan. In this process, they managed to kill two terrorists including a suicide bomber as revealed by the Pakistan military media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Thereafter, the terrorists tried to storm the FC post, leading to an intense exchange of fire between them and the military. The ISPR identified one of the militants killed as terrorist Umar alias Umari. He carried out multiple terrorist attacks against security forces and civilians. This includes a recent attack on the convoy of the Deputy Commissioner of Sherani.

ARY News quoted ISPR: “Security forces successfully foiled the attempt to enter the Balochistan camp. As a result, two terrorists, including a suicide bomber. And high-value target Umar, were killed before they could cause any harm.”

After the skirmish, the military conducted a sanitization operation to clear the area of remaining terrorists. The operation aimed to ensure the complete safety of the region and neutralize any potential threats.

“Security forces, together with the nation, remain committed to defending the peace, stability, and development of Balochistan,” the military media wing said. “The sacrifices of our brave soldiers only strengthen our resolve to eradicate terrorism.”

This incident follows a similar deadly clash in North Waziristan. Earlier, terrorists killed at least six Pakistani soldiers, including a lieutenant colonel, while they engaged in battle. The incident occurred in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan. The exchange of fire occurred on the night of October 4-5, according to the military’s media wing.

Recent clashes have continued to define the test of security facing Pakistan, areas. Such as Balochistan and North Waziristan, which among others happen to be a common target area for terror attacks against military and native civilians. However, the Pakistani army remains determined to further its operations in such areas to maintain law and order, hence securing its people.
