The ISPR identified one of the militants killed as terrorist Umar alias Umari. He carried out multiple terrorist attacks against security forces and civilians. This includes a recent attack on the convoy of the Deputy Commissioner of Sherani.

After the skirmish, the military conducted a sanitization operation to clear the area of remaining terrorists. The operation aimed to ensure the complete safety of the region and neutralize any potential threats.

“Security forces, together with the nation, remain committed to defending the peace, stability, and development of Balochistan,” the military media wing said. “The sacrifices of our brave soldiers only strengthen our resolve to eradicate terrorism.”

The incident occurred in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan. The exchange of fire occurred on the night of October 4-5, according to the military’s media wing.

Recent clashes have continued to define the test of security facing Pakistan, areas. Such as Balochistan and North Waziristan, which among others happen to be a common target area for terror attacks against military and native civilians.
