Leaders Congratulated Trump on Historic Win

World leaders congratulated Donald Trump after his victory in the Battleground states, projecting him as the next U.S. President.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also congratulated Trump, telling him how close they are: “Congratulations to President Donald Trump on his election victory. Australians and Americans are great friends and true allies. Working together, we can ensure the partnership between our nations and peoples remains strong into the future.” – posted in X.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer also congratulated Trump for projecting the close ties between the two countries. He tweeted, “Congratulations President-elect Trump on your historic election victory. I look forward to working with you in the years ahead.”

French President Emmanuel Macron followed suit and congratulated Trump. He said, “Congratulations President Donald Trump. Ready to work together as we have done for four years. With your convictions and with mine. With respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also congratulated the president-elect: “His historic comeback to the White House is a badge of honor for this incredible leader.” He continued, “Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America.”

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Trump. PM Modi wrote on social media platform X, “Heartiest congratulations my friend @realDonaldTrump on your historic election victory.” He also said, “I am confident that in your second innings, our fraternity would further strengthen.

PM Modi added, “As you build on the successes of your previous term, I look forward to renewing our collaboration to further strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership. Together, let us work for the betterment of our people and to promote global peace, stability, and prosperity.”

This is the second time in the nation’s history, whereby a president will serve two terms without the terms being consecutive; the last one who did it was Grover Cleveland.

Trump, speaking to his supporters in Florida, called his projected win the “greatest political movement of all time.”

He was confident that his victory would go a long way to make “America great again.”

Republicans are projected to capture at least 50 seats in the U.S. Senate, according to Fox News projections. Meanwhile, Democratic candidates are winning governorship elections in only three of ten states where counting is yet to be completed, according to CNN’s projections.
