Apple Tests iOS 18.0.1 to Fix Bugs

Technology company Apple is testing iOS 18.0.1 for iPhones. This new version is a minor update that targets the fixing of several bugs that have plagued users since the rollout of iOS 18.

According to MacRumors, the update will address several key issues. Such as touchscreen problems that appear in the recently released iPhone 16 series and some earlier models. Some users have faced difficulties in responsive touching.

Another significant problem involves iMessage. There is an annoying bug where the app crashes multiple times when users share an Apple Watch face. Apple is working on eliminating this glitch in the upcoming update.

Similarly, iPadOS 18 also caused some hiccups to certain units of the iPad Pro with the M4 chip. Users complained that the software made their devices non-functional. Apple probably focused on these issues in the update of iOS 18.0.1.

Although there is no word from Apple as to its release date, this iOS 18.0.1 might be released at the end of next week. According to various reports coming out from MacRumors. Due to their present situation, this update will arrive highly expected by users.

This update will also pave the way for iOS 18.1, coming this October, Apple says. In beta, iOS 18.1 will introduce the first features under the new Apple Intelligence brand. New writing tools and notification summaries.

According to MacRumors, it will be provided for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max. And any version from the iPhone 16 series. These features will definitely provide better functionality to users.
