Days after the announcement to hang his boots from all formats of cricket, international and domestic, the former Indian cricket opener Shikhar Dhawan now chose to be a part of the Legends League Cricket (LLC). This, indeed, adds an altogether new dimension to the already illustrious career of Shikhar Dhawan. He moves from being a global star player to helping take his side in a league. That promotes legends of the cricket world, especially now that Shikhar Dhawan joins the Legends League.

Dhawan known for his aggressive batting style and for being charismatic on the field. Dhawan’s entry into the LLC is making news headlines around the country as a continuing sign of his passion for the game. Talking about his new beginning, Dhawan shared his thoughts in a press release from LLC: “I believe joining the Legends League of Cricket with all the other retired players is simply the perfect progression post my career. I am at peace with my decision and quite enjoy the rest, yet cricket is something inseparable from my identity. It will never leave me, so I relish this opportunity to share fun moments with my cricketing friends and entertain my fans.”

Throughout his illustrious career, Shikhar Dhawan has accomplished various awards and victories. His long list of achievements includes the ICC Champions Trophy Player of the Tournament award from 2013. Additionally, he scored 6,793 runs in ODIs at an average of 44.1.

In T20 Internationals, he routinely scores at an average of 27.92 runs and 27.92 runs per inning, maintaining a strike rate of 91.35.Dhawan’s contributions extend beyond international cricket to include his feats in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Additionally, his impact in the IPL further underscores his remarkable career in the sport. He has scored 10,867 runs from 269 games at an average of 40 across a decade-long career. In addition, his extensive experience adds significant value to the Legends League.

With many of the world’s retired cricketing greats featuring in various games. With Shikhar Dhawan’s participation, fans can expect his celebrated skills and lively on-field presence.
