The residence of Salman Khan was abuzz with action as his family and Bollywood fraternity joined hands for the Ganpati Visarjan. Arpita Khan arrived with the Ganpati idol, while Arbaaz Khan, Aayush Sharma, and other family members attended the visarjan event.
It also involves Arbaaz’s son, Arhaan; celebrities Himesh Reshammiya, Varun Sharma, and Sangeeta Bijlani, among others. What made the whole ceremony so much fun was Salman Khan’s presence, which was only from inside his car, adding to the excitement of the day.
Earlier, on September 7, Salman Khan arrived in style at the Ambani residence- Antilia to join the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities. He looked dashing in a brown shirt as he joined the festivities with much excitement.
Recently, Salman Khan confirmed a rib injury while interacting with Mumbai-based photographers. On September 5, he appeared on the sets of Bigg Boss 18. Salman will soon headline the film Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss, scheduled for release next Eid.
Salman recently shared a picture from the Sikandar set on social media. He wore a light blue shirt and smiled at a nearby screen. Sajid Nadiadwala, the film producer, and director Murugadoss joined him, laughing together in the photo.Salman captioned, “Looking forward to #Eid2025 with team #Sikandar #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss Releasing in cinemas EID 2025.”
In May 2024, the production house announced that Rashmika Mandanna would be a part of the film, which further raised curiosity about the venture.
Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10-day festival, starting September 7 and continuing till Anantha Chaturdashi. The festival is also called Vinayak Chaturthi or Vinayak Chavithi and is associated with Lord Ganesha, the new beginning deity and destroyer of obstacles. In India and abroad, devotees celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and gaiety.
Besides visiting colorful pandals, people welcomed Ganesh idols and offered prayers in their homes during the festival. Chants echoed on the streets as the festive spirit reverberated; vibrant decorations and fragrances of sweets added to the celebrations.
