Kamala Harris Calls Trump “Unfit”

Just ahead of the 2024 US presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris went on the attack against former President Donald Trump as “unstable, dangerous, and unfit to serve.” Speaking to Fox News anchor Bret Baier, Harris launched an attack against Trump’s leadership. And behavior on the ground that the American people had enough of Trump.

“Listen to me… Donald Trump is unfit to serve. He is unstable, dangerous, and people are exhausted with somebody who professes to be a leader. But spends all of his time demeaning others and focusing on personal grievances,” Harris said. She then went further to say that the American people have grown tired of this conduct and manner of leading.

Kamala Harris also accused Trump of being ready to use the US military against the American people. She nodded to comments Trump previously made about using the military to target peaceful protesters. “He has talked about turning the American military on the American people. He has said he would go after people engaged in peaceful protests. And lock up those who disagree with him,” she said.

The Vice President also emphasized the source of democracy. Adding that any president of the United States must be able to handle criticism without sending threats. “This is a democracy. The President of the United States should be able to handle criticism without saying he’d lock people up for disagreeing,” she added. Harris underlined that this is a crucial issue, one that will shape the future of the country.

Kamala Harris is the first woman, the first Black, and the first Asian American Vice President of the United States. If she wins the presidency, she will make history and become the very first woman to do so. Her opponent is Donald Trump, who seeks a comeback after a 2020 loss. If he were to win, this would mark the first time in over a century that a president served two non-consecutive terms.

Voters will cast their ballots in the US presidential election on November 5, 2024. With the race heating up, the country will choose on November 5 between two polarizing figures with very different visions regarding the future of the country. Harris’s remarks were reminiscent of how high the stakes would be in this forthcoming election. Both Democrats and Republicans are expected to fight it keenly.
