Arkel Electronic India Private Limited (“Arkel India” or “the Company”), a major elevator control systems and components player, announced that Anurag Gupta resigned from the post of Managing Director on October 28, 2024. Gupta spent six years with this company, playing an important role in its growth. Particularly at the establishment of the joint venture, in its efforts to strengthen its presence within the market.
Mr. Gupta significantly incorporated Arkel India in 2018 along with Arkel Elektrik Elektronic Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (“Arkel Türkiye”). Under his astute guidance, the Company grew phenomenally to become one of the leaders in the Elevator Control Systems and Components market in India. Under his leadership, Arkel India built a state-of-the-art production facility and is likely to start operations in early 2025. In July 2024, Swedish group Innovalift also acquired 100% of the shares in Arkel T\ukraine as a strategic move to enhance its global footprint and expand its product portfolio.
Additionally, the Board of Directors would not like to let this opportunity pass without expressing profound gratitude for the commitment and guidance of Mr. Gupta. It is his vision that has been instrumental in strengthening the market position of the company. Thus laying the platform for future innovation and expansion.
