The popular veteran actress Zeenat Aman keeps engaging her fans with a glimpse of her life. She opened up about how she still gets nervous regarding public appearances, even after 50 years in the spotlight. On Monday, she shared a candid photo on Instagram to reveal an image of herself in a white robe inside a hotel room with pieces of jewelry laid out on the bed.
In her heartfelt message accompanying the photo, Zeenat shared, “Even after five decades in the public eye, I still experience those familiar butterflies before each event. I seek a moment of calm before preparing, as years of experience haven’t quite removed the jitters.
She talked about how she now converted what she used to do into a soothing ritual. “I’ve learned how to convert getting ready into a meditative process – from hot showers and fluffy robes, to carefully laying my jewelry and accessories just right. And then, the genius of the hair and makeup artists steps in to turn me from ‘frumpy Z aunty’ into ‘The Zeenat Aman,'” she shared.
The picture was clicked by her son, Zahaan Khan, who usually accompanies her everywhere. “I usually travel with just Zahaan and occasionally Cara, his partner. Their presence brings comfort in unfamiliar places,” shared Zeenat.
Moments before attending the Shantanu & Nikhil x Grey Goose couture show in Delhi, she shared the post. Since she had yet to unveil her event outfit, she promised to share pictures once official pictures were out.
Ending the note on a sweet note, Zeenat concluded, “Wishing you all a productive week with a sweet, unpredictable work schedule. It’s Monday—get them! PS: In school, we were trained to teach good girls not to show their knees. So I’m feeling quite cheeky flaunting them on Instagram!”
Zeenat Aman was a household name since the 70’s and 80s; she won the title of Miss Asia Pacific International in 1970. Her greater-than-life success and iconic achievements are worthy of outstanding respect in the film industry. Works of art include ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ – the real rainbow colors, followed by ‘Beat up the underworld,’ from ‘Don,’ ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat,’ ‘Gautam destroys the Stars,’ in ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna,’ ‘Qurbani,’ ‘Dostana,’ ‘ Dharam Veers,” she way ahead of her.
