New Patriotic Romance ‘Jai Hind, Jai Sindh’ from Shakeela Makers

The team behind the much-acclaimed Pankaj Tripathi starrer “Shakeela” has come up with its next ambitious project, “Jai Hind, Jai Sindh,” which seems to have a sensitive blend of patriotism and romance. On the back of their recent successes, such as “Luv U Alia” and the much-watched “Shakeela” on OTT, it seems Sammy Nanwani has a new cinematic venture ready for audiences along with Sammy’s Magic Cinema.

Slated for an Independence Day, 2026 release, the production of “Jai Hind, Jai Sindh” has just begun. The announcement of the film has created a lot of anticipation since the producers boast an excellent track record, and the themes that the movie aspires to bring out are just apt.

Producer Sammy Nanwani said he was excited about the project, adding that it is close to the historical and cultural roots of India. “‘After the overwhelming response to our previous films on digital platforms, we are keen to bring out a tale that deeply connects with our roots and history. ‘Jai Hind, Jai Sindh’ will not only show how India stood in heroic spirit during Partition but also narrate a love story captivatingly intertwined with the tussles and hopes of the Sindhi community,” Nanwani stated.

The film will follow the complex and emotional landscape of India’s Partition, which turned millions upside down and remains one of the leading chapters in the nation’s history. More precisely, it elaborates on the contribution of the Sindhi community in this period: “Jai Hind, Jai Sindh”. The movie tries to weave a story that retains thematic elements of love, loss, and resilience within one of the most transformative events in Indian history.

Besides the historical themes, “Jai Hind, Jai Sindh” is going to be a gala of colorful heritage and a rich legacy left by Sindh. With more than 5,000 years of history, the land of Sindh has enormous cultural and historical value, and this film attempts to give respect to that heritage with a newer outlook on the Partition era.

The producers are certain that there will be something in the movie that people can connect with and make for a rewarding cinema experience. The depth of history, the emotional story, and the romantic element are some of the things likely to engage a broad demographic audience, thereby fueling greater anticipation for and excitement about the movie.

From the cast to the crew, onto the storyline, details about the film will unravel as time goes on and the project progresses. This is bound to give additional impetus to the already fast-building buzz for “Jai Hind, Jai Sindh.” The theatrical release on Independence Day 2026 promises to be a landmark moment for the Indian film industry, paying homage to the history of India and its rich cultural fabric.
