Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh visited BJP national spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill at his place in New Delhi on Monday. Diljit, in an all-black avatar complete with a red turban, posed with Shergill, who later shared the moment on social media.
Shergill thanked him on X: “Touched by the gesture of my friend and superstar @diljitdosanjh to take out time and visit my home! His humbleness, humility, and kindness are a lesson for everyone. I always pray to Waheguru Ji for his success and good health. I can’t thank him enough for making the nation proud! Punjabi Chaaa Gayeee Oyeee.”
Diljit recently returned to India and kicked off his highly anticipated Indian leg of the Dil-Luminati Tour on Saturday evening at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. This concert lit up the fans, especially when Diljit hoisted the flag of India after his opening song. This electrified the audience and sowed the seeds for an exhilarating night.
Meanwhile, before the concert began, Diljit sought blessings at Bangla Sahib Gurudwara on Friday night. He shared his enthusiasm to perform in Delhi through an Instagram post. “Shut Down Shut Down Kara Ta Fer Delhi Waleya Ne Kal Milde An Same Time Same Stadium DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24 INDIA.”
He would still perform to appease fans around India, part of the Dil-Luminati Tour with appearances in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Pune among other major Indian cities. The tour is highly in discussion for his fans, wherein Diljit showcases his music and merges with his audience.
On the film front, Diljit informed that he would be a part of the forthcoming film Border 2. Starrer along with Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan also. The film, a sequel based on the historic Battle of Longewala, will start shooting this November. This venture makes a further addition to Diljit’s portfolio of music and cinema.
