Malviya composed on X, “Pakistan, a state known for its illegal intimidation, upholds the Congress and Public Meeting’s situation on Kashmir. Pakistan’s Safeguard Clergyman Khwaja Asif, on Hamid Mir’s Capital Chat on Geo News, said, ‘Pakistan and the Public Gathering Congress union are in total agreement in regards to the rebuilding of Article 370 and 35A.’ How could it be that from Pannun to Pakistan, Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi and his Congress party constantly align themselves with those hostile to India’s interests.”

Earlier, Khwaja Asif had appeared on Geo News’ Capital Talk with senior columnist Hamid Mir. Additionally, during the discussion, he shared his views on the political situation in Jammu and Kashmir. During the meeting, the interviewer asked Asif whether Pakistan and the NC-Congress coalition shared the same objective regarding Article 370 and 35A in Jammu and Kashmir. He responded affirmatively, saying, “Absolutely. Our demand is the same.”

Asif affirmed that Article 370 could be restored if the NC-Congress alliance gained power in Jammu and Kashmir. He stated, “I believe it is possible. The National Conference and Congress hold significant influence there. The population of the valley has been highly mobilized around this issue. And I accept quite possibly the Public Meeting will come to control. They have made this a significant political race issue, supporting the reclamation of Jammu and Kashmir’s status,” Asif added.

Accordingly, NC Supporter Farooq Abdullah reaffirmed his party’s obligation to reestablish the unique status of Jammu and Kashmir if the partnership wins.
